FAR FROM HOME breakfasts are, connection-first, friendship-focused meetups for Internationals.

What this is (and isn't)

  • A safe, sober, daytime space
  • A chance to meet people going through similar experiences
  • A simple way to build friendships

This is not:

  • A dating event
  • A networking event
  • A party
  • A guided or facilitated activity

Who can join?

FAR FROM HOME breakfasts are for:

  • Internationals living in Rome (approximately ages 23-35)
  • Students, workers, creatives or anyone new (or still feeling new) to the city
  • People looking for friendships and connections

How it works

1. Choose a breakfast date

2. Reserve your spot online

3. Receive café location by email

4. Show up, order breakfast, and meet new people

Groups are intentionally small to keep the experience relaxed and personal.

Where does it happen?

Breakfasts take place at cafés in Rome.

The exact location is shared by email after booking.

Each participant orders and pays for their own breakfast directly at the café.

Before you join

FAR FROM HOME is built on respect, kindness, and openness.

By joining a breakfast, you agree to:

  • Be respectful and considerate of others
  • Come with an open and friendly attitude
  • Treat this space as a safe and welcoming environment.
